Honey chicken

For approximately 250 g of chicken breast

For the marinade, mix:

  • 1 finely chopped onion
  • _x000D_

  • 2 tbsp liquid honey
  • _x000D_

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • _x000D_

  • 2 bay leaves
  • _x000D_

  • pepper to taste
  • _x000D_

marinate the diced chicken for at least 30 min.

In a high-sided pan, sear the meat with the marinade

    _x000D_

  • add 1 dl of apple juice and 1 dl of white wine
  • _x000D_

  • season with chicken or vegetable stock
  • _x000D_

  • add diced carrots and zucchini
  • _x000D_

  • cover and simmer over low heat for approx. 20 min. Check occasionally to ensure there is enough liquid
  • _x000D_

Serve with rice or mashed potatoes and a glass of Valais Gamay!
