Alpine terraces and wines of character

Located on the steep hillsides of Loèche, Château Lichten is set in a spectacular alpine landscape, between vertiginous terraces and pine and oak forests. The sandy, well-drained soils, combined with a steep slope, provide the vines with ideal conditions for deep rooting and balanced maturity.

This demanding terroir allows the emblematic grape varieties of Valais to express themselves with precision. The wines of Château Lichten are distinguished by their freshness, finesse and assertive character, faithful reflections of this unique place.
